My real name is Vincent boiron, I am 30 years old, I come from Valence in France and my artist name is Hoani Teano

What’s your background?
I started to learn music and to produce music with fruity loops in 2011 with my friend Spencer K
I started to play when I was 15 years old.
I started to play deephouse and slowly I played organic house and now I play afro house, afro tech and tribal

How has your practice change over time?
I think my music has evolved with my age and especially with my travels

What music genre do you most identify with?
To play afro house, afro tech and tribal and to make, I guess organic house and downtempo

What themes do you pursue?
It is a good question, I like to live day by day and to follow my mood

What’s your scariest experience?
This year when I had to change my distribution company, It was really hard to find an agency that suits me. I almost thought about quitting my label Nomadism Records

I guess Vibet EP from Bekando and Steven Sanchez

Describe a real-life situation that inspired you?
When I am traveling and when I can understand the music from the world

What’s your most embarrassing moment?
I guess when my friend from the Karismatik booked me too play in Amsterdam and my set was horrible

What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
I work in fashion for a luxury Italian brand

It is simple, it makes me happy

What memorable responses have you had to your work?
I am happy to work with humble people

What food, drink, song inspires you?
Italian and Spanish food when I don’t have time to eat. French food when I have friends at home.
And when I am traveling I want to eat only local food.
First, French one, second Italian wine otherwise cocktail with basil, amaretto or espresso martini

Meeting people from all around the world

Arrogant people

What superpower would you have and why?
Teleportation to visit the world

I am sorry but borders and religions, I guess it is the worst thing it from our current society and from millennia. For me we are all the same and we are all equal

To live from my label and from my music

May be to live day by day, it prevents headaches
