Temple01 Unveils ‘Tristar’

Temple01 is thrilled to announce the release of his highly anticipated EP titled “Tristar.” This EP is a meticulously crafted musical journey, incorporating Temple01’s signature funky and glitchy sound. The attention to detail is evident not only in the music production but also in the accompanying artwork, skillfully created by Temple01’s talented brother, featuring hidden details that only the keenest observers will discover.
The inspiration for “Tristar” came from the three stars that Temple01’s wife and her two sisters always associate with. These stars, part of Orion’s belt, sparked the idea of writing three acid house tracks, a departure from Temple01’s usual genres. Despite the change in style, the tracks still carry the distinct Temple01 vibes. The EP took approximately three months to complete, with each track receiving meticulous attention and fine-tuning. Temple01 sought feedback from trusted individuals, including DEHN and Schepperz from the We Talk Music Online Community, who provided invaluable assistance in achieving the right balance, particularly with the 303 basslines, which can be challenging to mix due to volume changes in the patterns.
In addition to the musical elements, Temple01 faced the challenge of incorporating vocals related to the stars in the tracks. However, with some resourcefulness and creativity, Temple01 managed to infuse vocals into the final track, “Alnilam,” even providing some vocals himself. The feedback received from various individuals, especially PR23, was instrumental in shaping the music and the overall project.
The EP features three tracks, namely “Mintaka,” “Alnitak,” and “Alnilam.” “Mintaka” is a high-energy track with influences from acid house, while “Alnitak” and “Alnilam” offer a deep, funky groove house sound. To complement the music, Temple01 has created videos for “Mintaka” and “Alnilam” on TikTok, enhancing the visual experience and further immersing listeners in the captivating world of “Tristar.”
“Tristar” will be available for release on June 2, 2023, on various platforms, including Bandcamp, Beatport, Juno, Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, and Napster, among others. While the EP is categorised under the Acid House genre, Temple01’s unique blend of styles and his ability to evoke a playful and energetic atmosphere ensures a delightful and engaging listening experience for music enthusiasts of all tastes.
