Full Bucket Music is a well-known name in the world of music production, specifically in the realm of creating software synthesizers. The man behind this company is Björn Arlt, who started Full Bucket Music in 2010 in Hanau, Germany.

Björn Arlt, also known as Full Bucket, started his journey in music at a very young age, playing drums in various rock bands. He eventually transitioned to playing keyboards and synthesizers, which sparked his interest in music production. In the late 90s, he started experimenting with creating his own synthesizer plugins.

After several years of tinkering, he released his first freeware synthesizer, the Mono/Fury, in 2010. This synth was well received by the music production community, which led him to create more synths and start his own company, Full Bucket Music.

Full Bucket Music’s synths are known for their high quality sound and user-friendly interface, and have been used by many musicians and producers around the world. One of the company’s most popular synths is the FB-3300, which is a software emulation of the classic Korg PS-3300 synthesizer.

In an interview with Megasynth, Björn Arlt talked about his approach to creating software synths, stating that he aims to create synths that sound like hardware but with the convenience and flexibility of software. He also discussed the challenges of creating freeware synths, which require a lot of time and effort to develop without any immediate financial return.

Despite these challenges, Full Bucket Music has continued to release new synths, with their most recent release being the ModulAir, a modular synthesizer plugin.

Björn Arlt’s dedication to creating high-quality and accessible music production tools has earned him a respected place in the music technology community. His commitment to making his synths available for free to musicians and producers of all levels has also made him a popular figure in the world of freeware music software.
