q: who or what is 8neun? a: 8neun in person is a German music producer, based in Berlin. But 8neun is more than just the person. It is a passion dealing with electronic music for many years now. A passion deeply focused on all occurrences of Techno music, but not restricted to anything. It is a passion for driving lead sounds, hypnotic and repetitive patterns, and hard kicking drums. 8neun loves to explore, from slow melodic tunes up to harder and faster techno vibes, an evolution ongoing permanently that can be heard in his EPs, Sampler contributions, remixes and sets. Apart from producing his own tracks, 8neun also stands for collaboration, for remixes, and especially for his home label Thorium Records. Additionally 8neun hosts private techno parties like the current Berlin based ‘Abriss Ost’ series, where he acts as DJ as well.
