Hi guys, have been doing a lot of DnB of late i thought would change it up for a bit of a break and also apply some lessons from my DnB endeavors, this track is House music with some deep feel funk I’m nearly there think maybe a few going over to ensure the mix is right and few touches here and there your help and comments as always are appreciated thanks..T

Solid kick, love the metallic sound on the perc at the start.
The tom? hits sounded really wide in the mix, first heard at 0.33.
Nothing else stood out in the mix.
Cool movement on the bass effects, I see what you mean by taking things from drum and bass…
Track is done really, release it into the wild, set it free!

Hey Tim, great how easily you are able to switch between different genres – this track is very well done! The only thing that stood out to me, was towards the end (about the last third ; ~4:30 – 4:50 onwards) it got a smidge too repetitive. The second time listening I’ve hadn’t the same feeling again but thought, maybe just one simple sound design twist more which wasn’t heard before. Just one unique element to save for the last thirds. Apart from that it’s done – really great track Tim 👍

Thanks Piv just maybe 1 or 2 edits to go not much i think as Micheal pointed out in the last 1/4 it needs something for interest which is an easy fix
thanks for listening its been worth while trying out a different genre and then trying to apply some lessons back

This is super cool. I love the warpy bass movement, not something you see in house a lot. Definitely can hear the DNB influence in this. It juxtaposes really nicely with the chilled out synths and textures. I don’t really have anything to add that hasn’t already been addressed. This sounds release ready to me!

Hi Tim,
Loving the keys that come in during the intro.
Nice gnarly bassline coming, great earcandy with the panning and placement
The chopped up amen break is a nice touch.
As this progresses it just keeps getting better, loving the vocal additions
and that synth that starts coming in around 2:33 sits perfectly in the mix, constantly getting a bit more present.
This is done man, everything is sitting perfectly in place and it progresses really nicely.
I’d drop this in a set for sure.
